We are so glad you’ve decided to join our family! Before your first visit, please print and fill out all of the new patient forms located below to make your check-in as quick and easy as possible. Please arrive 15 minutes early to allow time to fill out any additional forms, get registered in our system, and get acquainted with our office and team, who will greet you with a warm smile and a friendly welcome.

Your first visit is a great time for you to sit down one-on-one with Dr. Sanderson to get to know each other. We want to get to know you on a personal level so we can provide the most individualized care possible. We want to know what you do for work and for fun, what your dog’s name is, and how your daughter did in her last gymnastics meet. We also want to know about your complete medical and dental history, and any medications you are taking so we can, together, come up with a plan to help you achieve optimum health and wellness.

After listening to your primary concerns and goals, we will perform a comprehensive exam that includes taking biofilm (plaque) samples, X-rays, and analyzing the results. Your talented hygienist will perform a bacterial slide screening to see if you have any active pathogens that need to be treated. If you do (most folks do), we will first gain your permission to tell you what we see, and if warranted, proceed with the Oral DNA test (biofilm samples) to be sent off to the folks at OraVital for further analysis.

If cleared by Dr. Sanderson, we will then perform a routine cleaning using our advanced laser technology, and our cavity detection technology to see if you have any cavities hiding. Depending on your individual needs, we will come up with a treatment plan to get your mouth healthy so we can hopefully prevent larger systemic health problems down the road.
