Dr. Welch has also attended the prestigious Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, which has long been recognized as the pioneer in live-patient, post-graduate dental training. LVI’s curriculum includes restorative dentistry, implants, orthodontics, and root canals.

Dr. Welch’s favorite thing to do outside of work is spend time with his two sons, Sam and Chris, and their Labrador Retriever. He also enjoys fishing, hunting, cooking, golf and traveling.

A Remarkable Experience
“My wife might not appreciate this, but sometimes I feel more at home here then I do in my own den. It just has that effect on me. More importantly, I’ve watched the look on people’s faces as they walk through the door and notice a distinct change. It’s almost as if they’re able to shrug off the stresses of the day and finally relax. Is it the spaciousness they feel with the sky-high ceilings? Is it the cozy feel of the fireplace? Is it the tasty refreshments? I’m not quite sure. But I do know that before they leave, many of them make it a point to tell me they’ve never known anything like this–even after extensive dental work! And this is what’s gratifying to me. Knowing that somehow this just wasn’t about dental work or a cleaning. It’s about a life experience. ”

A Reason to Come Back
“Perhaps one of the biggest thrills I get is when some of the patients remind me not to forget about our next appointment. And mind you, these are patients who oftentimes had to be enticed just to walk in the door! That’s when you know you’re doing something right. I honestly believe that every person who comes to us thinks they’re the most important person here. Maybe that’s because we think they are, too.”

My journey here at Waterloo Heights Dental began more than 8 years ago. I feel very fortunate to be here. Our entire team work closely together. The care and compassion for each other extends to our wonderful patients, making our jobs fun and rewarding.

My husband Dan and I share a home in Onalaska with a sweet black Labrador Retriever named River. I am blessed with two sons, Ryan who resides in California, and Chris who resides in La Crosse.

My summer passion is driving cross country trips on my own Harley Davidson, with my husband and good friends. I love family dinners, camping and singing. I survive winters sitting close to the fireplace while enjoying football.

I have really enjoyed getting to know our patients since I joined the practice in 2001.

My husband Steve and I are natives of La Crosse but raised our children Elizabeth and Kevin, in La Crescent. I graduated from Western Technical College in 1983.

My hobbies include traveling, singing, boating and playing with our dog, Pearl.

I have been apart of this amazing team since Sept. 2007, and can honestly say that this has been the most rewarding place to work! My high school education stems from Holmen High, and am proud to say I’m a local girl.

My college experience is from Brevard Community College in Cocoa, Florida, but Waterloo Heights Dental has given
me the opportunity to advance myself beyond belief. My fiancé and I have a total of 4 children (Noah:10, Caleb: 7, Dominic: 6 and Jada:18 months). We also just became proud owners of a 1 year Golden Retriever named Charlie.

The goal for my patients would be to educate them on all their dental needs so that they can make the right decision on their dental care!

My husband Kevin and I reside in rural Bangor. We have three children, Lindsey, Travis and Kelsey.

I started my career in dentistry with Dr. Flume in 1989 after graduating from the dental assistant program at WTC. I graduated from Rochester Community College in dental hygiene in 1995, and recently (2010) graduated with a BS from MSU, Mankato in the dental hygiene completion program.

Some of my hobbies are: reading, gardening and spending time with my family, as well as my two dogs, Reggie and Meadow.

I enjoy the personal and professional relationships that have developed here at Waterloo Heights Dental Center and look forward to future ones.

Welcome to our website! I am originally from La Crosse and still reside with my husband Mike, a short distance from the city. We have 3 children, Joanie, Maggie and Dan. We will be grandparents for the first time soon.

I’ve been a hygienist for 34 years and have enjoyed every minute of it. 27 of those years have been with Dr Flume, and more recently Dr Ladesic and our awesome team. Along with hygiene, I enjoy traveling, gardening and entertaining. On a side note, I’m also involved in a rock & roll band called Studebaker 7.

My husband, Tim and I reside in Mindoro, WI on a farm. We have 2 married sons:

- Scott, wife Sara and granddaughter, Lilyah
- Gregory, wife Jen and grandsons: Gannon, Logan, Graden and Bodin.

I started my dental assisting career in Illinois when I was a senior in High School. I took several classes throughout the years. I worked in LaCrosse for Dr. Doucet and for Dr. Ciechanowski for 26 years in West Salem. I am one of the original employees here at Waterloo Heights Dental and enjoy my position as team assistant.

I help everyone at our office and do whatever has to be done. I enjoy photography, reading, gardening, scrap booking and spending time with the 5 grandkids.
